Arsenal are nearing the signing of Leicester City winger Jeremy Monga, a 16-year-old touted as a talent for the future, according to Fabrizio Romano. Negotiations are ongoing between all parties, with Arsenal confident of securing the deal despite interest from other English clubs. The move reflects Arsenal’s strategy of investing in young potential.
Manchester City are engaged in a complex pursuit of Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest, having already submitted an opening bid which was rejected. Forest are reportedly seeking a fee exceeding £100 million for the midfielder, who is also attracting attention from Manchester United. City have presented Anderson with a contract proposal and remain in discussions, but United are still in the race. Should the Anderson deal fall through, City have identified Newcastle United’s Sandro Tonali as a preferred alternative, with Arsenal also showing interest in the Italian midfielder.
Meanwhile, Erling Haaland’s future at Manchester City appears secure despite claims from a Real Madrid presidential candidate, Enrique Riquelme, that an agreement was in place to sign the striker. City have announced the possibility of legal action against Riquelme for using Haaland’s image without authorization during his campaign. The club maintains that Haaland is not for sale this summer and has no intention of entering negotiations.
Real Madrid themselves are active, with Florentino Pérez having finalized the signings of Ibrahima Konate and Denzel Dumfries, as well as securing a contract extension for Toni Rüdiger. They are also seeking a left-footed defender, with Josko Gvardiol and Riccardo Calafiori among their targets, though both players are also wanted by Manchester City and Arsenal. Bayern Munich are on the verge of completing their first summer signing, Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven, with the deal expected to be finalized imminently. They are also pursuing Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt to bolster their defense.
