Arsenal have no intention of selling forward Leandro Trossard this summer, despite reported interest from clubs in Turkey, Italy, Saudi Arabia, and Spain, according to TEAMtalk. The Belgian international’s future was subject to speculation last summer, but the club rewarded him with improved contract terms, extending his stay at the Emirates Stadium until 2027.
Trossard played a significant role in Arsenal’s recent Premier League title challenge and their run to the Champions League quarter-finals, where they were narrowly defeated by Paris Saint-Germain on penalties. He finished the season with eight goals and ten assists across all competitions, demonstrating his versatility and impact in multiple attacking positions.
Besiktas of Turkey and several Serie A clubs have reportedly enquired about Trossard’s availability, while clubs in the Saudi Pro League continue to monitor experienced European players. Atletico Madrid are also known to be long-term admirers of the 31-year-old, appreciating his technical quality and ability to play in various attacking roles, and have also shown interest in Gabriel Martinelli.
Despite the growing interest, sources indicate Arsenal do not actively seek to move Trossard on, viewing him as an important squad member due to his experience, consistency, and tactical flexibility. While the club are open to strengthening their attacking options, particularly on the left wing, they are not willing to let Trossard depart unless an offer meets their valuation.
Arsenal’s stance is clear; they value Trossard’s contribution and are not under pressure to sell. Manager Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta are reportedly focused on adding two attackers this summer to bolster the squad for a Premier League title defence.
