FC Barcelona have submitted two bids exceeding €100 million for Bournemouth forward Éli Junior Kroupi, according to L’Équipe. The offers have so far been rejected by the Premier League club.
Barcelona are actively seeking attacking reinforcements following the departure of Robert Lewandowski to Major League Soccer and with Ferran Torres potentially leaving the club. The Catalan side have already brought in Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi, but both are considered wingers, leaving a void at the centre-forward position. Should a move for Julián Alvarez fail to materialize, Kroupi, who scored 13 Premier League goals last season, is viewed as a suitable replacement.
Kroupi joined Bournemouth ahead of the 2023-24 season and quickly established himself as a key player for the Cherries. His goalscoring form attracted attention from several top European clubs, but Barcelona have emerged as the frontrunners for his signature. The player is reportedly receptive to a move to the Camp Nou.
