Bayern Munich have reached a full agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Nathaniel Brown ahead of a potential summer transfer, according to multiple reports. Discussions are ongoing between the two clubs, with Frankfurt reportedly demanding a €60 million fee for the 22-year-old, as Sky Sports reports.
Brown has reportedly agreed to a contract with Bayern that would run until 2031, following conversations with manager Vincent Kompany. The move comes after a breakout season for the fullback, where he registered ten direct goal involvements, including four goals in the Bundesliga, for Frankfurt. He joined Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2024 from Nürnberg for a reported fee of €3 million.
Brown’s recent form has also seen him emerge as a key player for the German national team. He featured in Germany’s 2-1 victory over the United States in Chicago on Saturday, extending their winning streak to nine games. Currently, he is considered ahead of RB Leipzig captain David Raum in the competition for a starting position in the upcoming major tournament.
Frankfurt’s valuation of Brown reflects his rapid development and increasing importance to both club and country. Bayern are in the market for a left-back following inconsistencies in the position last season, and Brown represents a long-term solution with considerable potential. The transfer could provide Kompany with a key building block as he looks to establish his vision at Bayern.
Negotiations over the transfer fee are expected to continue in the coming weeks, with Frankfurt holding firm on their valuation. Should a deal be agreed, Brown would add youth and dynamism to Bayern’s squad, potentially challenging for a starting role immediately.
