FC Bayern Munich have identified Juventus centre-back Gleison Bremer as a potential summer transfer target, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. The Bundesliga champions are considering a move for the Brazilian as they look to bolster their defensive options ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Juventus are reportedly under pressure to sell players this window following their failure to qualify for the Champions League, a financial blow that necessitates raising funds. Bremer, who has featured prominently for the Turin club since joining from Torino in 2022, is seen as a valuable asset who could command a significant fee. He has made 83 appearances for Juventus across all competitions, establishing himself as a key figure in their backline.
Bremer himself has expressed a desire to compete for major trophies, having won only a single Coppa Italia in eight seasons of Serie A football. This ambition could be a driving factor in his willingness to consider a move to Bayern, a club with a consistent track record of success both domestically and in Europe. However, the report also indicates interest from several unnamed Premier League clubs, potentially creating a competitive transfer market for the 29-year-old.
The potential arrival of Bremer at the Allianz Arena could open the door for Kim Min-Jae to return to Italy. Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti is reportedly keen on reuniting with the South Korean defender, with whom he enjoyed a successful spell at Napoli, winning Serie A together in 2023. A swap deal or separate negotiations could facilitate this move, providing Juventus with a proven replacement in central defence.
Juventus currently value Bremer at around €40 million, but are hoping his performances, particularly if he features prominently for Brazil at the 2026 World Cup, will increase his market value and attract higher bids. The club are banking on his international exposure to potentially drive up offers before the transfer window closes. A move to Bayern would provide Bremer with the opportunity to compete at the highest level and challenge for silverware, while simultaneously alleviating Juventus’ financial concerns.
