Bayern Munich have agreed personal terms with PSV Eindhoven attacker Ismael Saibari and are preparing an initial bid of €48 million, according to reports from Eindhovens Dagblad and multiple other sources. The German champions are looking to bolster their attacking options ahead of the upcoming season and see Saibari as a key target. The offer, which includes potential bonuses, is expected to be submitted imminently.
PSV are reportedly holding out for a fee closer to €60 million for the 25-year-old, suggesting negotiations between the two clubs could prove challenging. Bayern are reportedly keen to finalize the transfer before Saibari joins up with the Morocco national team for the World Cup, potentially complicating matters as his market value could increase with a strong tournament performance. The club are hoping to reach an agreement quickly to avoid a bidding war.
Saibari enjoyed a breakout season with PSV in the 2025/26 campaign, scoring 19 goals and providing nine assists in 37 appearances across all competitions. His versatility is a significant asset, as he is capable of playing as a winger, attacking midfielder, or even as a central striker. This adaptability would offer Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel tactical flexibility.
Saibari joined PSV in 2024 from Nîmes, initially making an impact as a substitute before establishing himself as a regular starter. His performances in the Eredivisie have drawn attention from several top European clubs, but Bayern have moved swiftly to secure a deal. The potential arrival of Saibari could provide competition for places in Bayern’s forward line, potentially impacting the roles of players like Leroy Sané and Serge Gnabry. A successful transfer would strengthen Bayern’s position as contenders in both the Bundesliga and the Champions League.
