FC Bayern have agreed to loan young left-back Julien Yanda to Spanish Segunda División side CD Eldense for the 2026/27 season, the club confirmed. The 18-year-old will gain first-team experience in Spain after a season developing with Bayern’s reserve team.
Yanda joined Bayern II from St. Pauli at the beginning of 2025 and has since made 40 appearances in the Regionalliga, the fourth tier of German football. His performances have earned him opportunities to train with the Bayern first team under manager Vincent Kompany during the 2025/26 campaign, indicating his potential within the Bavarian setup.
Bayern described the loan move as “the next step in his development,” suggesting the club views regular competitive football as crucial for Yanda’s progression. The move to Eldense offers him the chance to test himself in a professional league and potentially contribute to a team with recent success.
CD Eldense secured promotion back to LaLiga2 in their first season under the guidance of former Spanish international Claudio Barragán. The club’s ambition is clear, and Yanda will be joining a side looking to consolidate its position in the second tier of Spanish football. This transfer follows CD Tenerife’s acquisition of Armenian international Grant-Leon Ranos from Borussia Mönchengladbach earlier on Tuesday, demonstrating activity in the Spanish second division.
This loan spell will be vital for Yanda’s continued growth, providing a platform to showcase his abilities and return to Bayern with increased experience and potentially challenge for a place in the first-team squad in the future.
