Bournemouth’s Head of Football Operations, Tiago Pinto, has stated that forward Eli Junior Kroupi will not be sold during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old has attracted significant interest from several top European clubs following an impressive debut season at the Vitality Stadium, including Arsenal, Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain.
Kroupi’s current contract with Bournemouth extends until 2030, and reports have suggested a transfer fee of up to €100 million would be required to secure his services this summer.
Pinto confirmed the club’s stance to Saudi Arabian publication 365scores, stating, “Junior Kroupi will not be leaving the club. His contract is for more than four years, there is no release clause in the contract, and he will not be going anywhere. We will not sell Kroupi even if we receive offers of €100m.”
Several players, including Antoine Semenyo, Milos Kerkez, Dean Huijsen, Ilya Zabarnyi, and Dango Ouattara, have departed Bournemouth in the past year, but the club is firm in its resolve to retain Kroupi.
Kroupi has emerged as a breakout star in the 2025-26 Premier League season, scoring 12 goals and demonstrating versatility across the forward line. His positional awareness, powerful shooting ability, and intelligent runs from midfield make him a valuable asset.
Bournemouth’s potential qualification for the Champions League is a key factor in their decision to reject any potential offers for the France U21 international. Retaining Kroupi would bolster their squad as they prepare for a demanding season in Europe’s elite club competition.
Arsenal had been linked with Kroupi as they seek to strengthen their attacking options, but they will need to look elsewhere for reinforcements this summer.
