Eintracht Frankfurt defender Nathaniel Brown has responded to reports linking him with a summer transfer to Bayern Munich, stating his immediate focus remains on representing Germany at the upcoming World Cup. The 22-year-old addressed the speculation in an interview with Abendzeitung, acknowledging awareness of the reported interest but emphasising his current priorities.
“I read about it too, of course, but right now I want to focus on the World Cup. I’ll see what comes after that later. For now, my full focus is on the World Cup,” Brown stated. The left-back’s comments suggest he is not actively pursuing a move at this stage, deferring consideration until after the international tournament.
Brown also highlighted his contentment at Eintracht Frankfurt, where he is under contract until 2030. He described feeling well-settled in the city and enjoying his life both on and off the pitch. “I feel great in Frankfurt. I have friends there, I'm really settled in, and am enjoying it,” he added. This suggests any potential suitor would need to present a compelling offer to convince him to leave.
According to reports, Eintracht Frankfurt would likely demand a fee in the region of €60 million for Brown, reflecting his value to the club and potential. The defender enjoyed a productive 2025/26 season, contributing four goals and six assists from the left-back position. This form has attracted attention not only from Bayern Munich but also from clubs in the English Premier League.
Bayern Munich are reportedly in the market for a new left-back, with concerns over the long-term options currently available. A move for Brown would represent a significant investment in a young, promising talent. Should Brown perform well at the World Cup, his value could increase further, potentially complicating any future negotiations. His continued development at Eintracht Frankfurt, or a successful transfer to a European giant, could establish him as a key player for both club and country.
