Juventus goalkeeper Elia Daffara is poised to join Parma on a permanent transfer, according to reports from TuttoSport. The 21-year-old recently returned to Juventus after a successful loan spell with Avellino, where he was bought back for €500,000, but will immediately be allowed to depart again in search of more regular playing time.
The move to Parma is reportedly advanced, though Juventus are still considering their options for Daffara’s future, with the potential for other clubs to emerge. Parma’s interest is concrete, and the transfer could be facilitated by the potential departure of Parma goalkeeper Simone Suzuki, who has attracted attention from Aston Villa. Aston Villa are looking for a replacement for Emiliano Martinez.
Juventus are actively working to reshape their goalkeeping options this summer, with a priority on securing a new number one. Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez has emerged as a potential target, although the Birmingham club are seeking a fee of €15 million. Guglielmo Vicario has also been identified as a possible alternative, with Juventus exploring the possibility of negotiating a deal. The club is also evaluating the futures of Marco Di Gregorio and Mattia Perin.
Mattia Perin is expected to be offered a contract extension to maintain his presence in the squad and contribute to the team’s mentality. Manager Luciano Spalletti values Perin’s experience and leadership qualities within the dressing room, seeing him as a key figure in rebuilding a winning culture. Perin previously played with Daniele De Rossi at Genoa and in the Italian national team, and a return to the club was considered by the player earlier this year. Spalletti reportedly turned to Perin in difficult moments when assessing Di Gregorio’s form. The club hopes that resolving the goalkeeping situation will also help in negotiations with Aston Villa for Martinez.
Interest in Di Gregorio has been reported from Turkish clubs, but no concrete offers have been made at this stage. Juventus are hoping to generate offers for the player in the coming weeks.
