Patson Daka is set to join Hamburger SV as a free agent after reaching a full agreement with the German club, according to Sky Germany’s Patrick Berger. The 27-year-old Zambian international is scheduled to undergo a medical examination on Tuesday, July 21st, ahead of finalising the move.
Daka will sign a contract with the Hanseatic club that runs until 2027, with an additional option to extend the agreement for a further year. While not a transfer fee is involved, sources value the forward at approximately €3 million.
The former Leicester City striker becomes a valuable addition for Hamburger SV as they prepare for the upcoming 2. Bundesliga season. Daka’s arrival provides versatility in attack, as he is capable of playing as a central striker, on the wings, or in attacking midfield positions.
