Tottenham Hotspur manager Roberto De Zerbi is reportedly considering a move to re-sign Randal Kolo Muani this summer, according to reports from both French and Italian media outlets. The France international spent the 2025/26 season on loan at Tottenham from Paris Saint-Germain, but his time in North London was largely unsuccessful as the club finished 17th in the Premier League for the second consecutive year.
Kolo Muani made a total of 41 appearances for Tottenham during his loan spell, scoring five goals and providing four assists. De Zerbi initially decided against making the deal permanent at the end of the season, but TuttoSport reports that the manager may be having a change of heart. Tottenham have already been active in the transfer window, bringing in midfielders Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes, and are now seeking to strengthen their forward line.
While Tottenham are reportedly planning a £75 million bid for Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Kroupi, Kolo Muani remains an option. L’Equipe reported earlier this week that both Tottenham and Juventus are interested in the 27-year-old, with PSG seemingly open to a sale. The French publication noted Kolo Muani has 32 caps for France, scoring nine goals for his country.
Interest in Kolo Muani extends beyond Italy and England, with FootMercato reporting that Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are also monitoring the situation for a potential transfer in the 2026 summer window. Kolo Muani previously impressed during his time with Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany, and a return to the Bundesliga has also been suggested. De Zerbi’s potential U-turn indicates a shift in his assessment of the player and suggests he believes Kolo Muani could be a valuable addition to the squad despite his previous struggles at the club. Securing a proven goalscorer remains a priority for Tottenham as they look to improve their Premier League form.
