Borussia Dortmund have expressed interest in TSG Hoffenheim winger Bazoumana Touré, joining Liverpool and Atlético Madrid in the pursuit of the 20-year-old, according to Sport Bild. Dortmund have reportedly already made initial enquiries regarding a potential transfer for the player this summer.
Touré established himself as a key figure for Hoffenheim during the 2025/26 Bundesliga season, directly contributing to 17 goals with five strikes and 12 assists in 30 league appearances. His performances have attracted attention from several of Europe’s top clubs, with Dortmund now emerging as a serious contender for his signature.
Hoffenheim signed Touré from Swedish side Hammarby in early 2025 for a reported fee of approximately €10 million. He quickly adapted to the Bundesliga, showcasing his pace, dribbling ability, and creative passing, making him a valuable asset for the club. His rapid development has significantly increased his market value.
A release clause of around €40 million is reportedly included in Touré’s contract. Should Dortmund meet that figure, it would represent a club-record transfer fee, surpassing the €35 million paid to Stade Rennes for Ousmane Dembélé in 2016. Dortmund are consistently looking to add young talent to their squad, and Touré fits that profile.
Liverpool and Atlético Madrid are also monitoring Touré’s situation, suggesting a potential bidding war could develop. The competition for his signature highlights his growing reputation as one of the most promising young wingers in European football. His arrival at any of these clubs would likely provide a significant boost to their attacking options, offering pace and creativity in wide areas.
