Radu Dragusin may be on his way back to Juventus after just one season with Tottenham Hotspur, with new manager Roberto De Zerbi not expected to feature the Romanian centre-back prominently in his plans. According to a report in TuttoSport, Tottenham are open to selling Dragusin for a fee in the region of €20-25million (£17.3-21.6m), and have even given his intermediaries an ‘indirect mandate’ to find a suitable buyer.
Dragusin joined Tottenham in January 2026, but his debut was delayed due to an injury. He ultimately made ten Premier League appearances for the club, though struggled to establish himself as a regular starter. The arrival of Marcos Senesi and the impending signing of Jan Paul van Hecke for £52m have further complicated his path to first-team football, with De Zerbi seemingly favouring other options in central defence.
During his limited playing time under De Zerbi, Dragusin was given only two minutes across two games, with Micky van de Ven and Kevin Danso starting at centre-back. The club are also expected to lose Cristian Romero, making central defence a position of focus during the transfer window, but the signings of Senesi and Van Hecke suggest Dragusin is not part of the long-term plan.
Juventus are reportedly a potential destination for Dragusin, with the club considering a move to bolster their own defensive options. The Italian side may need to sell players such as Federico Gatti, Lloyd Kelly, or Gleison Bremer – the latter of whom has a release clause that activates in July – to finance the transfer. Dragusin previously played for Juventus’ youth system before moving to Genoa in 2022, and a return to Turin could offer him a more prominent role.
