Eintracht Frankfurt are prepared to sell striker Elye Wahi on a permanent deal this summer, with OGC Nice and Besiktas both showing interest, according to reports. The German club is expected to entertain offers, though there is a discrepancy in the reported asking price, with figures ranging from €15 million to €25 million.
Turkish outlet Sabah reports that Frankfurt are open to negotiations starting at €15 million for the Ivorian forward. However, Sky Germany suggests the Bundesliga side's valuation is closer to €25 million. The 23-year-old is currently on loan at Nice, where he has rediscovered his scoring touch after a difficult start to his Frankfurt career.
Since joining Nice in January, Wahi has contributed seven goals and two assists in 15 Ligue 1 appearances, a marked improvement on his output in Germany. His form in France has reignited his market value and made a permanent stay at the Allianz Riviera a logical next step. The French club is now considered a frontrunner to secure his signature on a full-time basis.
Besiktas are also believed to be preparing an offer, according to Sabah, setting up a potential bidding war for the player. Frankfurt, meanwhile, are reportedly hopeful that Wahi's participation with Côte d'Ivoire at the 2026 World Cup could further enhance his value, though the club appears intent on a sale this summer rather than waiting.
Wahi's departure from Frankfurt seems inevitable, with reports indicating a clear path exists for his exit despite other attacking uncertainties within the squad. His successful loan spell has effectively ended his future at Deutsche Bank Park, making a return to Frankfurt highly unlikely. The coming weeks will determine which suitor meets the club's financial demands for a player whose career has been revitalized in Ligue 1.
