Barcelona have completed the signing of Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United for a reported fee of €80 million, according to FootballTransfers. The move sees the young forward join the Catalan giants as they look to bolster their attacking options ahead of the upcoming season.
This transfer comes as Barcelona continues to reshape its squad under Xavi Hernandez, seeking to regain dominance in La Liga and compete effectively in European competitions. Elsewhere in Europe, AC Milan have secured the services of Goncalo Ramos from Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of €74 million. The Portuguese striker arrives at the San Siro with a reputation for goal-scoring prowess, and Milan will hope he can provide a consistent threat in front of goal. This acquisition signals Milan’s ambition to challenge for the Serie A title once again.
Several other high-profile moves have been completed across the top five European leagues in recent days.
