Manzambi has quickly established himself as a key player for Freiburg, recording 16 goal contributions in 47 appearances for the Bundesliga side. His performances have significantly increased his market value, with Transfermarkt currently valuing him at €50 million, though Freiburg are reportedly seeking a fee closer to €70 million. The club finished sixth in the Bundesliga last season, qualifying for the Europa League, and Manzambi was instrumental in their success.
Switzerland’s continued participation in the World Cup means any potential transfer is unlikely to be finalised imminently. However, Newcastle appear to be leading the race for his signature, with Romano suggesting they currently have the upper hand over other interested clubs. Manzambi primarily plays as an attacking midfielder, known for his creativity, dribbling ability, and eye for goal.
