While strong squad loyalty is generally positive, the inability to facilitate outgoings is creating a structural problem for the club, effectively halting any further recruitment until spaces become available. Discussions held during the Club World Cup regarding player roles and futures must now translate into firm decisions before the transfer window closes.
Several player situations require resolution. The forward positions of Gonzalo García and Endrick are under scrutiny, with Kylian Mbappé firmly established as the first-choice central striker.
