SV Elversberg have signed Noah Darvich on a season-long loan from VfB Stuttgart, the newly-promoted Bundesliga club confirmed on Thursday. The 19-year-old midfielder will spend the 2026/27 campaign with Elversberg, gaining valuable experience in Germany’s top flight.
Darvich arrived at Stuttgart last summer from FC Barcelona, joining the club’s youth setup with a reputation as a promising talent. Despite his potential, he is yet to feature for Stuttgart’s first team, having primarily played for the club’s Under-21 side. He quickly became a key figure for the reserves, playing a significant role in their 3. Liga campaign during the 2025/26 season.
Stuttgart’s sporting director, Fabian Wohlgemuth, explained the reasoning behind the loan move, stating that it represents a logical step in Darvich’s development. According to Wohlgemuth, the loan will allow Darvich to be “challenged at a high level and gain important experience,” with Elversberg providing an “excellent destination” for this purpose. The club will continue to monitor his progress closely throughout the season.
Elversberg earned promotion to the Bundesliga at the end of the 2025/26 season, marking a historic moment for the club. Securing Darvich’s loan represents an ambitious move for the newcomers, bolstering their midfield options with a player who has already demonstrated his ability at a professional level. The loan provides Darvich with a platform to showcase his skills and potentially earn a place in Stuttgart’s first-team plans in the future. This move benefits both clubs, offering Elversberg a talented player and Stuttgart the opportunity to develop a promising prospect in a competitive environment.
Darvich is a versatile midfielder capable of playing in a variety of roles, known for his technical ability and passing range. He will likely compete for a starting position in Elversberg’s midfield alongside established players as they attempt to navigate their first season in the Bundesliga.
