Everton are bracing for a potential bid for forward Iliman Ndiaye from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, according to TEAMtalk. The Saudi club have identified the Senegal international as a priority attacking target as they continue to bolster their squad following the acquisition of Crysencio Summerville.
Despite already strengthening their attack with Summerville, Al-Hilal are reportedly determined to add another high-profile wide forward, turning their attention to the 25-year-old Ndiaye. This development has also alerted Premier League rivals Liverpool and Manchester United, both of whom have previously monitored the player’s situation.
Everton are in a relatively strong negotiating position, with Ndiaye still having three years remaining on his current contract at Goodison Park. The club are reportedly prepared to open discussions regarding an improved long-term contract to reward Ndiaye for his importance to manager David Moyes’ plans and secure his future with the Toffees.
Al-Hilal’s interest comes as they also pursue Mohamed Salah, though uncertainty surrounds the Egyptian’s potential move to the Saudi Pro League. As a result, the Saudi club are accelerating their pursuit of alternative attacking options, with Ndiaye emerging as a leading candidate alongside Summerville and Chelsea’s Pedro Neto, who has also been linked with Liverpool.
Liverpool are seeking attacking reinforcements, particularly on the right side of their attack, and view Ndiaye’s creativity and Premier League experience as valuable assets. Manchester United are also considering Ndiaye as a “versatile forward” capable of playing across the frontline, and have also expressed interest in Ndiaye’s Senegal teammate, Ismaila Sarr.
Everton, however, remain committed to retaining Ndiaye, viewing him as a key component of Moyes’ rebuilding project at the club.
