Juventus are evaluating the development pathways for several promising players within their youth system, with plans ranging from increased involvement in the Next Gen squad to potential loan spells and even a possible transfer abroad. The club, under the influence of Giovanni Carnevali, is prioritizing the integration of young talent, a strategy that had fallen by the wayside in recent years.
Destiny Elimoghale, a 2009-born winger, is considered one of the brightest prospects in the Juventus youth setup. The 17-year-old impressed for Italy at the Under-17 World Cup last year, finishing in third place, and established himself as a key player in Juventus Primavera, managed by Paolo Montero, this past season. Elimoghale made 31 appearances across all competitions, scoring twice and providing three assists, but it is his dribbling ability and tactical intelligence that have particularly caught the eye. Juventus intends to give him regular playing time with the Next Gen team.
Arman Durmisi, a 2008-born striker, is another Primavera standout. He received a call-up to the Premier League International Cup, making two appearances totaling 46 minutes. Durmisi also excelled with the Under-20 team, scoring 13 goals and providing two assists in 33 appearances. His performances led to a contract renewal with the club in April, and Juventus also plan to integrate him into the Next Gen squad under Massimo Brambilla.
Midfielder Giacomo Faticanti, who has been with the Juventus Under-23 team, may be heading to Avellino on loan. Juventus recently exercised their option to purchase him from Lecce, but believe he would benefit from more consistent first-team football. Avellino are reportedly preparing a loan offer with an option to buy, and Juventus may seek to include a buy-back clause in any agreement. Faticanti has also earned recognition with the Italy 'green' squad.
Perhaps the most concrete outgoing transfer involves David Puczka, a standout performer for Juventus Next Gen. The Austrian left-back, capable of playing as a winger, scored 10 goals and provided five assists in 34 appearances last season. According to reports, Hertha Berlin of the German Zweite Bundesliga are interested in signing Puczka, potentially offering him a platform to further develop his game. Juventus value Puczka but are open to allowing him to gain experience elsewhere.
