Galatasaray have made a substantial offer to Juventus centre-back Bremer, presenting him with a contract worth €8 million net per season, according to reports in Italy. The Turkish club’s offer represents a significant increase on Bremer’s current earnings in Turin, where he reportedly earns around €6 million net annually.
Bremer has not yet accepted the offer, but has not ruled it out, indicating a willingness to consider a move. Juventus had previously believed the Brazilian would be unlikely to move to Turkey or another league outside of Europe’s top tiers, but the player’s changing stance has prompted the club to reassess potential replacements should he depart. The situation also comes with Juventus seeking a left-footed centre-back to provide competition for Timothy Weah, with Federico Gatti unavailable.
Juventus are now monitoring potential alternatives, with Fikayo Tomori of AC Milan and Jean-Clair Todibo of West Ham United emerging as potential targets. Tomori is familiar to Juventus officials, having previously worked with Paolo Maldini, and is entering the final year of his contract at Milan, potentially making him an affordable option. Todibo was previously a target for the Turin club last summer, during the period when Cristiano Giuntoli was appointed, but a move ultimately failed to materialise.
Todibo’s situation has changed since then, as he was part of the West Ham side relegated from the Premier League, which could make a loan move to Juventus more feasible. The club are also considering other options as they navigate a potentially busy transfer window. Bremer joined Juventus from Torino in 2022 for a fee of around €40 million and has become a key figure in the team’s defence, making 34 appearances in Serie A last season. A departure would leave a significant void in the Juventus backline, but the financial incentive offered by Galatasaray could prove difficult for the player to resist.
