Luka Topalovic is the subject of loan interest from several Serie B clubs following a promising season with Inter’s youth sides, according to reports in Italy. The 20-year-old midfielder impressed during a late-season appearance for Inter against Bologna, providing an assist for a goal in a 3-3 draw.
Topalovic featured for Inter’s Primavera and Under 23 teams throughout the 2025-26 season, demonstrating his potential to step up to senior football. Following his assist at Bologna, forward Marcus Thuram praised Topalovic, stating he needs more passes like the one he received. Several clubs have reportedly contacted Inter regarding a potential loan deal for the Slovenian youth international.
Pisa have emerged as a potential destination for Topalovic, alongside teammate Alessandro Cocchi, after failing to secure a permanent deal for Ebenezer Akinsanmiro. Additionally, Juve Stabia are monitoring the player, and Padova have also expressed interest. Having played in Serie C with Inter’s Under 23 side, a move to Serie B represents a logical next step in his development.
Inter plan to include Topalovic in their pre-season training camp in Germany in mid-July, where coach Cristian Chivu will have the opportunity to further assess his progress. The club views players like Topalovic as potential assets, either for integration into the first team or as opportunities to generate transfer revenue. His situation mirrors that of Aleksandar Stankovic, another Inter youth product whose future is currently under consideration.
