Newly-promoted Premier League clubs Ipswich Town, Coventry City and Hull City are all expressing interest in Bournemouth forward Daniel Jebbison, according to TEAMtalk. However, Bournemouth are currently reluctant to sell the 22-year-old permanently.
Jebbison spent last season on loan at Preston North End, where he scored six goals and provided two assists in 22 Championship starts. His performances have attracted attention from several clubs as he continues to develop as a forward.
The three promoted sides believe Jebbison possesses the qualities needed to make an immediate impact in the top flight. Bournemouth, however, highly value the Canadian-born striker and are not actively seeking to facilitate a permanent departure at this time.
The Cherries’ preference is reportedly to send Jebbison on another Championship loan, allowing him to gain further regular first-team experience before potentially returning to the Vitality Stadium next summer. This stance has increased interest from clubs in the second tier.
Burnley, Middlesbrough, Birmingham City, Norwich City and Blackburn Rovers have also registered their interest in taking Jebbison on loan. Recruitment teams are drawn to his work rate, physicality, and ability to press from the front, qualities that were evident during his time at Preston.
Jebbison’s effectiveness in transition and on the counterattack is also viewed as a significant asset by clubs pursuing an aggressive, attacking style of play. Bournemouth believe he can continue to progress significantly over the next year and become a viable first-team option.
While Ipswich, Coventry, and Hull would consider a permanent deal if Bournemouth’s position changes, the club is currently focused on securing another loan spell for the young forward. The competition now centres on which club can offer the most beneficial development pathway for Jebbison. Ipswich are looking to add firepower following their promotion, while Coventry and Hull are also seeking to strengthen their attacking options.
