Juventus are nearing an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for the loan of forward Randal Kolo Muani, according to reports from Liege. The deal is structured as a loan with a conditional obligation to buy, dependent on the club qualifying for European competition.
Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti is reportedly keen to have Kolo Muani available for the upcoming tour of China and Australia, scheduled to begin on August 2nd. The club is simultaneously pursuing a deal for Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee, aiming to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new Serie A season. Juventus officials Giovanni Carnevali, Ricky Massara, and Marco Ottolini have been heavily involved in negotiations for both players.
Discussions with PSG have been described as positive, with Juventus offering an initial payment plus the remainder of the fee contingent on Champions League or Europa League qualification. PSG initially valued Kolo Muani at €50 million, while Juventus have offered €40 million plus bonuses through the loan structure. The 26-year-old forward has reportedly been training with PSG’s youth team and surplus players, having been deemed surplus to requirements by manager Luis Enrique. Kolo Muani has reportedly prioritized a move to Juventus, rejecting other potential destinations.
Alongside the pursuit of Kolo Muani, Juventus are also exploring a potential loan deal for Zirkzee. Massara, who previously attempted to sign Zirkzee for Roma last winter, has been in contact with both Manchester United and the player’s representatives. The proposed deal would mirror a similar arrangement Manchester United made with Barcelona for Marcus Rashford last year. Juventus are also considering other options, with Parma valuing Mateo Pellegrino at €30 million, though Juventus would prefer a loan arrangement. The addition of both Kolo Muani and Zirkzee would provide Spalletti with versatile attacking options as Juventus aim to compete at the highest level in Serie A.
