Juventus are aiming to maximize returns on player sales as they seek to bolster Luciano Spalletti’s squad, with Khéphren Thuram identified as a key player who could be sacrificed. The club are reportedly seeking no less than €50 million for the midfielder, valuing him highly despite exploring potential departures.
Several Premier League clubs have expressed initial interest in Thuram, including Sunderland, Nottingham Forest, and Newcastle United, however, none have yet submitted a formal offer. Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have also enquired about the Frenchman, but he is currently not considering a move to either Turkish club. Paris Saint-Germain, through sporting director Luis Campos, have also gathered information on Thuram during negotiations for Kolo Muani, but have not progressed beyond preliminary discussions.
Alongside Thuram, Juventus are also open to offers for Gleison Bremer. Tottenham Hotspur made an enquiry earlier in June, but were deterred by the defender’s €58 million release clause. Bayern Munich have since made contact with Bremer’s representatives, though this has been limited to a preliminary sounding. Juventus would now consider a sale for between €45 and €50 million, but recognize that Bremer’s recent injury history and lack of involvement in the recent World Cup may complicate finding a buyer.
Andrea Cambiaso is another player Juventus deem surplus to requirements. Como have withdrawn from the race, while Barcelona remain loosely linked. Inter Milan met with Cambiaso’s agent Giovanni Bia on Thursday to explore a potential move for the left-sided player, but no concrete offers have been made. The lack of firm bids for these players is currently hindering Juventus’ progress in the transfer market as they attempt to fund new arrivals.
Thuram joined Juventus in 2023 and quickly established himself as a regular in midfield, making 32 appearances across all competitions. Bremer arrived a year prior, becoming a key part of the Juventus backline, despite recent injury setbacks. Cambiaso, who can play on either flank, has also featured prominently for the club since his arrival.
