Juventus have agreed to a loan deal with Vicenza for young forward Alessandro Pietrelli, the clubs confirmed through official statements on their respective websites. The 23-year-old will spend the 2026/2027 season with Vicenza, who play in Serie B, with the agreement including an option for the purchasing club to buy, and a counter-option for Juventus to bring him back.
Pietrelli arrived at Juventus in January 2025 and quickly made an impact with the Next Gen team, registering 15 appearances, four goals, and two assists in a short period. This form earned him a call-up to the first team squad for a Coppa Italia match. Last season, he gained further experience in Serie B with Venezia, contributing to their promotion to Serie A with nine appearances and one assist.
Vicenza expressed their delight at securing Pietrelli’s services, highlighting his recent success with Venezia and his promising track record in Serie B. Before joining Juventus, Pietrelli developed through the youth ranks at Bologna, also featuring for FeralpiSalò where he amassed 57 appearances, scoring six goals and providing six assists. The club welcomed him with a statement wishing him well in his new colours.
Juventus’ statement emphasized Pietrelli’s positive contribution to the Next Gen side and his valuable experience gained with Venezia. The loan move aims to provide the player with consistent playing time and further development in a competitive environment. This move allows Juventus to assess his progress while he gains valuable experience, potentially positioning him for a more significant role upon his return.
