Juventus Next Gen have confirmed contract extensions for young talents Nicolò Milia and Stefano Antonio Merola, while Alessio Vacca has departed on loan to Folgore Caratese. Stefano Antonio Merola, who recently recorded six goals and six assists with the Primavera squad, has signed a new deal that will keep him with Juventus Next Gen until June 30, 2030. The agreement signifies the club’s faith in the 2007-born forward and provides him with an opportunity to establish himself in professional football. Merola is currently aiming to make a significant impact with the Next Gen team.
Nicolò Milia, also born in 2007, has agreed to a contract extension until June 30, 2028, with an option for a further two seasons. The midfielder has been training with the Juventus Under 20s but is also part of Brambilla’s plans for the Next Gen side. Official announcements for both renewals are expected shortly, according to sources within the club.
Alessio Vacca will continue his development in Lega Pro with Folgore Caratese after a previous six-month loan spell at Dolomiti Bellunesi. The 2005-born player joins the newly promoted side on loan until the end of the season, seeking regular playing time and an opportunity to showcase his abilities in an ambitious club. The loan agreement is expected to be finalized and announced this afternoon.
Juventus Next Gen have also scheduled a series of pre-season friendly matches. They will face Pisa on July 25th at 18:00 at the Valdigne Mont Blanc Sports Center, followed by a match against Vado on July 31st at the Allianz Training Center in Vinovo, also at 18:00. A traditional intra-squad match against the Juventus first team is scheduled for August 17th at 18:00, serving as the final friendly before the start of the competitive season.
