Juventus are prepared to proceed with a significant overhaul of their squad this summer, despite the likelihood of competing in the Europa League next season, according to reports from TuttoSport. While the prospect of Europa League football is viewed negatively by supporters, the club maintains its ambition to strengthen in multiple positions.
The Bianconeri’s transfer priorities remain unchanged, focusing on a ‘super’ goalkeeper, a forward to partner Dušan Vlahović, a central midfielder, and potential improvements at left-back. The club acknowledges funding these acquisitions may require a significant player sale.
Despite missing out on Champions League qualification, Juventus believe they can still attract high-profile players. They are reportedly pursuing Randal Kolo Muani, with the player himself keen on a move to Turin, and are prepared to pay around €30 million for his services. The club also remains interested in acquiring a goalkeeper of Alisson Becker’s calibre, though negotiations with Liverpool regarding a transfer fee are ongoing.
Should a deal for Bernardo Silva prove unattainable – with the player reportedly prioritizing clubs competing in the Champions League – Juventus are considering alternatives, including Brahim Díaz of Real Madrid, whose future at the Spanish club hinges on the appointment of José Mourinho as manager. Juventus and Real Madrid have previously discussed a potential move for Moise Kean, suggesting a possible avenue for a combined deal.
Further domestic options are also being explored, with the club monitoring Alessandro Bernasconi for the left-back position, Lorenzo Pellegrini for midfield, and considering a move for Daniel Maldini as a free agent. Juventus are preparing for a busy summer transfer window, with director of football Giovanni Comolli reportedly prioritizing ‘plan B’ options.
