Juventus remain interested in signing Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain, but the Italian club deem the French champions’ asking price too high, according to Juventus Chief Executive Giovanni Carnevali. Carnevali revealed this information during an appearance on the Rai podcast, La politica nel pallone, on Monday.
Carnevali stated that a deal could be completed quickly if Juventus were to meet PSG’s demands, but the club considers them excessive. “We could sign him in ten minutes if we accepted the conditions of PSG, but we consider them too high,” Carnevali explained, adding that Juventus will either reach an agreement with Paris or pursue alternative targets. Sources indicate that PSG is seeking a fee exceeding €45 million for the forward.
Kolo Muani is already familiar with Juventus, having spent the 2024-25 season on loan with the club. During his loan spell, the French international impressed, scoring eight goals in 16 Serie A appearances. This season, however, he has been on loan at Tottenham Hotspur, where his goalscoring form has been less prolific. He managed only one goal in 30 Premier League matches.
Despite a relatively quiet league campaign with Tottenham, Kolo Muani did demonstrate his capabilities in the Champions League, scoring four goals in nine appearances. He joined PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023, but has struggled to establish himself as a consistent starter in the French capital, leading to the loan spells. Juventus are looking to strengthen their attacking options ahead of next season, and see Kolo Muani as a potentially valuable addition, provided a reasonable fee can be negotiated. A successful transfer could provide Juventus with a dynamic attacking outlet, while allowing Kolo Muani to reignite his form in a league where he has previously excelled.
