Spalletti’s arrival follows a period of rest and meetings with football figures including Gigi Buffon and Marco Masini. The new Juventus manager is said to have a strong relationship with CEO Giovanni Carnevali, a dynamic that is proving crucial in the transfer window following the departure of Comolli. The club is confident a deal for Kolo Muani can be finalized, differing from last summer’s failed attempt.
Beyond Kolo Muani, Juventus are also exploring options to strengthen their goalkeeping and midfield positions. Spalletti has identified Argentina’s World Cup-winning goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, currently at Aston Villa, as a preferred target.
