Juventus have quickly turned their attention to Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani following the departure of Dušan Vlahović, according to reports in Italy. The Bianconeri are eager to reinforce their attacking options ahead of next season, with manager Luciano Spalletti hoping the club will act swiftly to secure a new central striker.
The need for a new forward has been amplified by the expected departure of Arkadiusz Milik, who is reportedly in advanced talks to rescind his contract with the club. Juventus officials reportedly first scouted Kolo Muani in December, identifying him as a player possessing the physical and technical attributes they desired – qualities lacking in current options like David and Openda. The club is now pushing to finalize a deal with PSG.
Negotiations with PSG are expected to be challenging, with the Parisian club’s president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, known as a tough negotiator. The clubs have a recent history, with Kolo Muani almost joining Juventus last summer before ultimately moving to Paris. Juventus have reportedly communicated their strong interest to PSG and are aiming to conclude the transfer quickly, potentially allowing Kolo Muani to join the squad for their pre-season tour in Asia and Oceania starting July 13th.
PSG are currently valuing Kolo Muani around €30 million, but Juventus are hoping to negotiate a lower fee. The possibility of a loan deal with an obligation to buy is also being considered, with Juventus wary of relying on player sales to generate funds. Beyond Kolo Muani, Juventus are also exploring options with Atlético Madrid for Alexander Sorloth, and have shown interest in Jean-Philippe Mateta of Crystal Palace, Gabriel Jesus of Arsenal, and Gonzalo Garcia. Spalletti is reportedly seeking two new forwards to share the responsibilities in attack.
