Juventus are exploring options to bolster their attack, with Randal Kolo Muani emerging as a primary target, while contract renewal talks with Dusan Vlahovic have reached a standstill. Manager Massimiliano Spalletti reportedly appeared resigned to the situation regarding Vlahovic’s future following a recent meeting, citing financial demands and complex dynamics as key obstacles.
Negotiations with Vlahovic and his representatives have stalled, with no immediate plans for further discussions. This has prompted the club to consider alternatives up front, particularly a physically imposing striker, a profile sorely missed during parts of last season. Arkadiusz Milik is also expected to depart, potentially leading to a complete overhaul of the forward line if Vlahovic does not sign a new contract.
Kolo Muani, currently without a club after a spell at Tottenham, is seen as a viable option. The Frenchman previously enjoyed a successful six-month stint with Juventus, leaving a positive impression on fans and staff. His price tag has reportedly decreased, and Juventus are aiming to secure his services for under €30 million, though the structure of the deal remains to be negotiated. Juventus sporting director Giovanni Comolli is expected to lead the pursuit.
Other potential targets include Mateta of Crystal Palace, who recently won the Conference League, and players from Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, though those options are considered more challenging. Nico Gonzalez, currently on loan at Atletico Madrid, is a player the club would like to see return to Madrid, with the Spanish side willing to negotiate a fee in the region of €25 million, lower than the previously agreed €32 million option to buy.
Douglas Luiz’s situation is less promising, as Aston Villa will not exercise their option to buy him after a disappointing season. Juventus are open to selling the midfielder, but finding a club willing to invest in a player whose form has dipped is proving difficult. Spalletti is reportedly prioritizing different profiles in midfield, and Comolli is tasked with finding a suitable solution for Luiz.
