Juventus are exploring the possibility of signing Richarlison from Tottenham Hotspur, according to reports in Italy. The potential transfer emerged during discussions between Juventus CEO Giovanni Carnevali and Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi regarding goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario.
Carnevali and De Zerbi have a strong working relationship stemming from their time together at Sassuolo, and have been in frequent contact. While the initial conversation focused on Vicario, who is available following the arrival of Martin Dubravka at Tottenham, Richarlison’s name was also raised as a potential option for the Bianconeri. Tottenham are open to selling the Brazilian forward, whose current contract expires in June 2027, and he is reportedly unwilling to sign an extension.
Juventus could secure Richarlison for a fee in the region of €20-25 million. Last season, the 26-year-old scored 12 goals for Tottenham, surpassing the tally of Randal Kolo Muani, who remains Juventus’ primary target to bolster their attack. Kolo Muani currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain, and negotiations between the clubs are ongoing.
Juventus have offered €40 million for Kolo Muani, which is €10 million less than PSG’s asking price. Carnevali is hopeful of a positive development in the coming days, but Richarlison has emerged as a viable alternative. Other potential options being considered by Juventus include Alexander Sorloth of Atletico Madrid and Folarin Balogun of Monaco.
Juventus are also pursuing Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, but face resistance from the Premier League club. Aston Villa are reportedly unwilling to let Martinez leave for less than €12 million, while Juventus have offered around €6.5 million including a loan, conditional redemption, and bonuses. Despite the difficulties, Juventus remain interested in Martinez, but are simultaneously increasing their interest in Vicario as a backup option.
