Leeds United are prepared to sanction the permanent sale of winger Largie Ramazani to Valencia this summer, according to reports. The Belgian international, currently on loan at the Spanish club, is one of several attacking players the Premier League side is looking to move on as they reshape their squad.
Sources indicate that Valencia, managed by former Leeds coach Carlos Corberan, are keen to secure Ramazani on a full-time basis following his productive spell at Mestalla. The 25-year-old has registered six goals and two assists in 26 La Liga appearances, playing a key role in Valencia's climb away from relegation trouble. Local newspaper El Desmarque reports that the club has already sounded out the player about a permanent stay, with Corberan said to be particularly keen on the deal.
When questioned about his future recently, Ramazani offered a hint that he was open to remaining, stating that an analysis would come at the season's end and that he would continue working ambitiously. Leeds, for their part, are not expected to stand in his way. Manager Daniel Farke is understood to believe the winger is not suited to his system or the physical demands of the Premier League, despite Ramazani contributing nine goals and assists in 31 appearances for Leeds during their promotion-winning 2024/25 campaign.
The club signed Ramazani from Almeria for a fee reported to be around €11.7 million in August 2024. He is under contract at Elland Road until 2028. Leeds would ideally seek to recoup their initial investment, though his current market valuation is estimated to be slightly lower, at approximately €10 million. Any permanent transfer is likely to be negotiated around that figure.
Ramazani's potential departure is part of a broader clear-out of attacking options planned by Leeds. TEAMtalk reports that the winger is one of six forwards the club hopes to sell. The list includes Jack Harrison, whose loan at Fiorentina includes an option to buy, though recent Italian reports suggest that deal may collapse. Joel Piroe, who has fallen out of favour, will be told he can leave once Leeds' top-flight status is secure, with Rangers and Middlesbrough mentioned as possible destinations.
Furthermore, Joe Gelhardt is expected to secure a permanent move to Hull City after a successful loan, while Facundo Buonanotte will return to Brighton after failing to make an impact. The plans to sell young striker Mateo Joseph, however, have been complicated by a serious ACL injury he sustained earlier this month, which will limit the market for his services.
As they look to streamline their squad, Leeds are also targeting reinforcements, notably in attack. Sources confirm a serious interest in Feyenoord's Japanese striker Ayase Ueda, who has scored 26 goals this season. The club faces competition from Tottenham and Everton for his signature, but may hope the presence of his international teammate Ao Tanaka at Leeds could provide an advantage. The potential arrival of a new forward would help share the goalscoring burden with current first-choice Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
