Fayzullaev joined Basaksehir from CSKA Moscow last summer and has quickly established himself as a key player despite facing some minor injury setbacks. He has contributed to 11 goals in just over 1,300 minutes of Turkish Super Lig action, showcasing his ability to both score and create opportunities. Known for his exceptional dribbling and playmaking skills, he has been on Liverpool’s radar for the past year.
The potential move for Fayzullaev aligns with new manager Andoni Iraola’s desire to reshape the Liverpool squad, particularly in the wide areas following the anticipated departure of Mohamed Salah and uncertainty surrounding Cody Gakpo’s future.
