Liverpool have once again been linked with a move for Juventus midfielder Khephren Thuram, according to reports from Italy, as the club anticipates potential departures in the midfield this summer.
The Reds recently secured the signing of Spain winger Victor Munoz, successfully diverting him from a move to Newcastle United, but further business is expected before the transfer window closes. Liverpool are also pursuing additional winger options, with Yan Diomande of RB Leipzig and Bradley Barcola of PSG both under consideration, as they plan for the potential loss of Mohamed Salah.
TEAMtalk reports that Liverpool are open to selling Curtis Jones, with Inter Milan identified as the player’s preferred destination. There has also been speculation surrounding the future of Alexis Mac Allister, with Real Madrid reportedly interested, though the Spanish club are currently prioritizing a deal for Enzo Fernandez.
Corriere dello Sport, as cited by Football Talk, states that Liverpool are among several clubs showing interest in Thuram, with Juventus potentially willing to sell to balance their finances. Thuram joined Juventus from Nice last summer for approximately £17.3 million, and quickly became a key player, making 45 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring four goals and providing three assists.
Juventus are reportedly aiming to generate a capital gain of around £10-11 million by June 30, and Thuram is considered one of their most valuable assets. While Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli and Galatasaray have also expressed interest, Thuram is reportedly prioritizing a move to the Premier League. Manchester United and Nottingham Forest are also monitoring the situation. A fee of around £30 million could be enough to tempt Juventus into a sale.
With Thuram potentially available, Liverpool may make a move before the end of the month, though competition from other Premier League clubs is anticipated.
