Luis Díaz has reaffirmed his commitment to Bayern Munich, dismissing speculation linking him with a transfer to Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal, according to Sky Germany. The Colombian international has informed the club of his desire to remain in Germany, despite reported interest and a substantial offer from the Saudi Arabian outfit.
Al Hilal previously attempted to sign Díaz last summer, reportedly offering him a net salary of €22.5 million per year. However, the winger is content with his current situation at Bayern and is not entertaining the prospect of a move. The club has also expressed its firm intention to retain Díaz, with no plans to enter negotiations with any potential suitors.
Díaz joined Bayern Munich from Porto in January 2023, quickly establishing himself as a key player under manager Thomas Tuchel. The 26-year-old contributed significantly to Bayern’s Bundesliga title win last season, providing both goals and assists with his dynamic attacking play. He has featured in 39 games for the Bavarian giants, scoring 12 goals.
Bayern Munich chairman Jan-Christian Dreesen further emphasized the club’s stance, stating to Kicker.de that it would be “stupid” to sell Díaz.
