Tchouameni joined Real Madrid from Monaco in 2022 for a reported €69.4 million, becoming a key component in midfield. However, the recent unrest within the Real Madrid squad, including separate incidents involving Kylian Mbappe and Antonio Rudiger, has created a volatile atmosphere.
With Valverde being the club’s vice-captain, reports suggest that Real Madrid are more likely to consider selling Tchouameni if they opt for significant changes to the squad in the summer.
