Manchester United are reportedly considering a €120 million offer for Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr, according to El Nacional. The potential move for the Brazilian international has been speculated on for months, with Michael Carrick identified as a key proponent of bringing the forward to Old Trafford.
However, United face competition from Paris Saint-Germain, who are also monitoring Vinicius’s situation with a view to signing him on a free transfer when his contract expires in 2027 should he not agree to an extension with Real Madrid. Vinicius Júnior currently plays as a forward for Real Madrid and is valued at €100.5 million, with an Estimated Transfer Value ranging from €90.5 million to €110.6 million.
In separate news, Manchester United have received a boost in their pursuit of Felix Nmecha, as Newcastle United have withdrawn from the race to sign the midfielder, as reported by The Chronicle. Nmecha recently played a significant role in his nation’s progress to the knockout stages of the World Cup, increasing speculation surrounding his future.
Dortmund are expected to demand around €100 million (£87m) for Nmecha, a fee Newcastle are unwilling to meet. Reports suggesting Mason Mount has been offered to AC Milan are inaccurate, according to the Manchester Evening News. The midfielder is focused on a strong pre-season campaign after a period hampered by injuries.
Finally, Lille have set an asking price of between €80-100 million for Morocco international Ayyoub Bouaddi, who has also attracted interest from Arsenal, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City, according to RMC Sport reporter Fabrice Hawkins. Lille are also seeking a one-year loan deal for Bouaddi as part of any potential sale, after the player impressed at the World Cup. United identified Bouaddi as a potential midfield target after missing out on Elliot Anderson to Manchester City.
