This comes as Los Blancos aim to raise funds to finance a double swoop for Rodri from Manchester City and Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig, according to reports from The Sun.
Real Madrid have already secured several signings this summer, including Ibrahima Konate and Bernardo Silva on free transfers, alongside Denzel Dumfries and Marc Cucurella for a combined €80 million. However, the club is now targeting higher-profile additions in Rodri and Diomande, with Rodri allegedly agreeing personal terms with the Spanish giants. A bid of €100 million has already been submitted for Diomande, with a further offer planned.
To accommodate these significant outlays, Real Madrid must generate revenue through player sales. Fabrizio Romano stated on YouTube that the club needs “fresh money, they need outgoings” to complete the deals for Rodri and Diomande.
