Juventus winger Francisco Conceiçao has attracted serious interest from Premier League clubs Liverpool and Manchester United, according to reports from Italy. The 23-year-old Portuguese international, signed from Porto for 32 million euros last summer, is under contract with the Serie A side until 2030 and earns approximately 3.8 million euros per season.
Conceiçao's recent performances, particularly in Juventus's match against AC Milan, are understood to have solidified his status as a target for the English giants. Despite modest season-long statistics of four goals and four assists in 38 appearances, his display at San Siro showcased his growing influence. He was reportedly the standout performer for Juventus, completing more dribbles and creating the team's most dangerous chances, including an assist for a disallowed goal and a shot saved by Mike Maignan.
Liverpool's interest stems from their anticipated need to find a long-term successor for Mohamed Salah, who is expected to depart at the end of the season. Juventus manager Thiago Motta has himself drawn a comparison between the two players, noting Conceiçao's similar intensity and one-on-one ferocity, while also acknowledging the Portuguese winger must improve his finishing to reach Salah's elite level. The Reds reportedly see a parallel in Salah's own development after moving from Roma to Anfield.
Manchester United, meanwhile, are seeking to bolster their attacking options on the flanks as they prepare for a likely return to the Champions League. The club is looking for signings to elevate the overall quality of their squad, and Conceiçao's profile fits their requirements. For his part, Conceiçao has recently stated he is happy at Juventus, a club he describes as "great."
The situation leaves Juventus in a position of strength. Having invested significantly in the player just last year, the club is under no pressure to sell. It is reported that Juventus would not consider opening negotiations for any offer below 20-25 million euros in profit above his current book value of 25.6 million euros. His continued development, potentially highlighted at this summer's European Championship, could further increase his valuation and the intensity of the interest from England.
