Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is said to be particularly keen on signing the 26-year-old Brazilian international, viewing him as a priority target in their search for a left-sided attacker following the departure of Leandro Trossard to Besiktas. While Christos Tzolis has arrived from Club Brugge, Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta are still seeking further reinforcement in that position.
Vinicius Junior’s current contract with Real Madrid runs until the summer of 2026, and the Spanish club are open to a sale if he does not agree to an extension. This has prompted Arsenal’s aggressive pursuit, with the potential for a club-record contract offer being prepared.
