Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna has stated that midfielder André-Frank Zambo Anguissa will remain with the club, despite reported interest from elsewhere. According to reports, Manna confirmed Anguissa has a contract that doesn't necessitate immediate renewal talks, stating he sees no need to negotiate at this time. He did, however, express displeasure with comments made by Kevin De Bruyne, a player already at Napoli, promising to clarify the situation with the Belgian. Napoli are currently assessing their defensive options following an injury to Alessandro Buongiorno. Manna explained the injury came as a surprise, disrupting plans to rely on their existing five central defenders plus João Oliveira. Simeone is currently sidelined for a couple of weeks with an ankle injury sustained in a friendly against Arezzo.
