Bryan Nokoue has signed a permanent deal with Union sportive Avranches Mont-Saint-Michel, a National 1 side in France, after a period with the UNFP FC. The UNFP FC, established in 1990, provides a training ground for footballers without current contracts, offering professional coaching and match experience against professional teams. Nokoue initially joined the UNFP FC last summer, following a spell with AS Saint-Étienne.
After completing the 2025 UNFP FC program, the defender moved to HASK Zagreb and then Dubai City FC, but both experiences proved short-lived. This led to Nokoue returning to the UNFP FC this summer to maintain his fitness and seek another opportunity. Avranches, who finished eighth in National 1 last season, have quickly offered him a contract.
Nokoue is a central defender who will now compete in Normandy, France. The move represents a chance for the Cameroonian player to rebuild his career after a period of instability. He will be hoping to establish himself as a key player for Avranches in the upcoming 2026-2027 season.
Details regarding the contract length and financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed. However, the signing provides Avranches with added depth in their defensive options as they prepare for another campaign in the National 1 league. For Nokoue, it offers a platform to showcase his abilities and potentially attract interest from higher-level clubs in the future.
