Federico Gatti, the Juventus and Italy centre-back, is attracting interest from several Premier League clubs ahead of the summer transfer window, according to reports in Italy. Juventus are reportedly open to selling Gatti as part of a wider effort to raise funds for squad rebuilding during the off-season.
Juventus have set an asking price in the region of €20-25 million for the 25-year-old defender, who joined the Turin club from Frosinone in 2022. Gatti recently turned down an offer from Galatasaray, but is said to be more receptive to a move to the English top flight. He has earned five caps for the Italian national team since his debut in 2023.
Everton have been consistently linked with Gatti for several months, and are understood to be among the leading contenders for his signature. Crystal Palace and Aston Villa have also expressed interest, viewing him as a potential reinforcement for their defensive lines. Fulham are another Premier League side monitoring the situation, appreciating Gatti’s qualities as a central defender.
Gatti has found his playing time limited under Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri, making only a handful of starts this season. This lack of regular football has reportedly left him frustrated, and he is now willing to consider offers that would guarantee him a more prominent role. Reports suggest he does not want to repeat a season on the periphery of the starting eleven.
There is also potential for interest from within Serie A, with Napoli and Milan both previously linked with Gatti during past transfer windows. However, the Premier League appears to be his preferred destination should he leave Juventus this summer. A move to England would likely provide Gatti with the opportunity to establish himself as a regular starter and further develop his career.
