Marcus Rashford’s potential permanent move to Barcelona is currently in doubt, with the Catalan club considering alternative offensive signings, according to iNews. While Barcelona have the option to make Rashford’s loan deal permanent for €30 million, they are also pursuing Julian Alvarez and Bernardo Silva, potentially impacting their decision.
Should Barcelona choose not to exercise their buyout option, at least four other clubs are reportedly interested in acquiring the England international. Premier League sides Newcastle, Aston Villa, and Tottenham have all been mentioned as potential destinations, alongside Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, who are also seeking to strengthen their wing options. Rashford has been on loan at Barcelona since the start of the 2025-26 season, featuring regularly but not consistently as a key starter.
Manchester United and Liverpool are both monitoring the situation of Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye, in what TeamTalk describes as a potentially “devastating” raid on the Goodison Park club. The Senegal international has reportedly rejected multiple contract offers from Everton, despite having three years remaining on his current deal, and is seeking a release clause in any new agreement. Everton are currently remaining “relaxed” about the situation.
Real Madrid are aggressively pursuing defensive reinforcements, having already agreed deals for Inter’s Denzel Dumfries and Liverpool’s Ibrahima Konate, according to Alberto Pereiro of Onda Cerro. Their primary target is now Manchester City’s Josko Gvardiol, with Florentino Perez reportedly convinced he is the best defensive option available. Additionally, Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez has reportedly agreed personal terms with Real Madrid, though a significant transfer fee – between €120-140 million – remains a major obstacle to the deal, as reported by Marca.
Further transfer rumours include Andoni Iraola requesting Liverpool to pursue Ilya Zabarnyi from PSG, Arsenal and Bayern Munich tracking Nathaniel Brown of Eintracht Frankfurt, and Manchester United monitoring Juventus defender Pierre Kalulu. Several other potential moves are also being discussed, involving players such as Eli Junior Kroupi, Kalvin Phillips, Morgan Rogers, Ismale Saibari, Dani Ceballos, Emiliano Martinez, Zadok Yohanna, and more.
