Real Madrid are reportedly monitoring Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz as a potential transfer target this summer, according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport. The 21-year-old has emerged as a key player for Juventus, scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions this season.
President Florentino Perez is said to view Yildiz as a ‘dream player’ ahead of the 2026/27 season, despite the presence of established stars like Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior in similar attacking positions. However, acquiring the Turkey international will prove difficult given he recently signed a new contract with Juventus, extending his stay until 2030.
Yildiz’s recent form has been crucial for Juventus as they compete for a Champions League qualification spot. Missing out on Champions League football could impact their financial situation and potentially make them more open to offers, though the club reportedly considers him ‘untouchable’.
Real Madrid are anticipating significant changes in the coming months, including the potential return of Toni Kroos in a coaching capacity and a search for a new manager with Jurgen Klopp, Jose Mourinho, and Unai Emery among the candidates. Reinforcements on the pitch are also a priority, and Yildiz is seen as a player who could add to their attacking options. The potential pursuit of Yildiz comes alongside renewed interest in Manchester City’s Josko Gvardiol, with Real Madrid legend Luka Modric reportedly a long-time admirer of the defender. City are, however, preparing a new contract offer for Gvardiol to ward off interest.
