"I think that to keep Spurs in the Premier League, it must be clear to everyone that I want to work in the Premier League. I think I deserve to work in the Premier League," he stated. "Whatever happens, if I sign a contract in April, I have to be ready to stay next season no matter what. My focus is on Sunderland and the other six games. But my idea is very clear."
The Italian manager, known for an intense, possession-based style, faces a daunting fixture list, with matches against several top-half sides in the run-in. However, he dismissed the notion that he is a short-term appointment, emphasizing his long-term vision. He stressed that his immediate focus is on instilling a resilient and attacking mindset.
