Beşiktaş president Serdal Adali addressed the situation in an interview with Turkish media outlet Ortacizgi, stating that the decision rests with Salah. He explained that negotiations with Salah and his representatives have been ongoing regarding the details of a potential transfer.
Adali further detailed that after mutual negotiations, the club presented a final official offer to Salah’s camp, and requested a prompt decision. The club is now awaiting a response to their proposal.
Salah enjoyed a successful spell at Liverpool, becoming a key player and a prolific goalscorer. He joined the Reds in 2017 from Roma and quickly established himself as a fan favourite, helping the club win the Premier League, Champions League, and other major honours. His departure from Anfield marked the end of a significant chapter in both his career and the club’s recent history.
Beşiktaş, meanwhile, are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming season.
